Freeze-Dried Stinging Nettles

Clinical Integration

1. Branch — Acute Support

Lucidia addresses histamine-mediated responses, inflammatory cascades, and immune hyperactivation. Especially effective in cases of heightened immune response, congestion, and systemic inflammation. It also begins to clear debris in the blood and lymph — so patients get immediate benefit and systemic improvement.

2. Spleen — Digestive Foundation

Address the Spleen with dietary guidelines, appropriate diets, acupuncture, moxa, and digestive support as indicated. Especially important in cases of long-term poor lifestyle habits, dampness, or compromised digestion.

3. Root — Underlying Pattern

Chronic immune dysregulation will never be limited to Lung and Spleen. Address the underlying condition of the blood and other organs through differential diagnosis. Common patterns include:

  • Liver Yang Rising — head and neck congestion, tension, headaches; common age 20–45. Formula: Tian Ma Gou Teng Yin. Apply Cinnamon Protector Oil on GB 20, 21.
  • Blood Deficiency — dryness, fatigue, pale tongue, restricted diet. Formula: Si Wu Tang, He Shou Wu.
  • Liver Qi Stagnation — stress, congestion, emotional component. Formula: Jia Wei Xiao Yao San.
  • Yin or Yang Deficiency — low kidney function, poor adrenal support. Sleep and mental rest are essential. Formulas: Tian Wang Bu Xin Dan, Cordyceps, Ashwagandha.

A side effect of the whole-body treatment is that immune dysregulation resolves or reduces. In all cases, make sure the patient is getting 8 hours of restful sleep.

Cinnamon Protector Oil in Practice

I discovered years ago that if I used Cinnamon Protector Oil before each treatment, my patients would relax easily, allowing the treatment to be more effective — and they left the clinic feeling amazing.

This handcrafted botanical oil activates circulation in the head, face, and neck, eases tension, and creates an invigorating, grounding treatment environment. I apply it to GB 20 and GB 21 routinely, especially for Liver Yang Rising presentations.

Another favorite way to use it is to "clear" the patient before acupuncture or body treatments. This is a sort of vagus nerve reset, or in acupuncture terms: press the oil into GB 20, stand grounded, and hold the points for a minute using qi gong to clear and neutralize.

It strongly stimulates circulation and eases muscle aches and stress (excess type), and is useful with gua sha along the upper spine to release neck and upper back tension.

Many practitioners keep bottles in their clinic for direct use and recommend it to patients for home care between visits.
